Pegas are categorized into different rarities and bloodlines with bonuses and other perks. The only advantage that rare Pegas would have are the cooldowns or how often you can race them, how many times you can breed them, and how long until the newly-bred Pegas can partake in a race.
And of course, rare ones are more awesome-looking compared to common ones, which also adds to their value as a collectible NFT on the market. But when it comes to the actual race, rare Pegas are just as good as the common ones.
In-game currencies
Much like Axie Infinity, Pegaxy has two main in-game currencies called PGX and VIS, used for different purposes, and you’ll need both to get started.
- PGX is the governance token representing Pegaxy on the crypto market and the currency needed for renting or selling horses.
- VIS is the utility token, and it’s the same token that you’ll gain or lose when participating in races.
