Axie Infinity is a blockchain game where players can own lands, battle, hunt, and breed adorable but fearsome creatures called Axies. Launched in March 2018, this game is inspired by Pokemon and it even has some of its concepts like different class types and its weaknesses and strengths against other Axies. Like in Pokemon where electric types are strong against water types but weak against ground types.

How to Get Started
Download the game from their website to start. Players are required to own a digital wallet to play the game and they recommend using MetaMask for security and convenience. Within the game, two currencies are used for their respective purpose:
AXS – stands for Axie Infinity Shards, Axie Infinity’s governance token, and in-game currency that can be staked for additional income. But stakers are required to play and vote to claim their rewards. AXS is available on Binance and Uniswap.
SLP – is an ERC-20 token that stands for Smooth Love Potions, used to breed Axies that can be sold on the Marketplace.
