Sipher is an upcoming play-to-earn blockchain game built on Ethereum. They recently published a one-minute gameplay video on their official YouTube channel, featuring Inu. Inu is one of Sipher’s three origin races, giving us a glimpse of what’s to come. Sipher In-development Gameplay
You can check out the gameplay footage on their channel. The Sipher Inu character fights waves of critter-like bots on what seems to be a PvE or Player vs. Environment game mode. You can go all out with your avatar and eliminate everything in front of you. It also requires you to maneuver a bit to avoid getting hit if you don’t want to deplete your HP completely.
If I’m being honest, the gameplay still appears a bit rough around the edges. The character’s movement appears a little off. But we can’t judge the game based on that footage because it is still in development. To be fair, this game was only conceived a few months ago, and we’re now seeing the results and progress they’ve made so far.
The Long-awaited Release
Time flies and January has already passed. Sipher’s game demo is expected to be released in the first quarter of this year, 2022. So we’ll get to play the game very soon! And just so you know, you’ll need to purchase at least one character to interact with the game and play.
The NFTs that are sold today will soon be made as in-game characters that players can use to navigate and interact with others inside the game. Each character that you can purchase today has its unique appearance and accessories. They are equipped with different weapons and gadgets of all sorts. That’s why a lot of NFT collectors are buying the limited edition characters. They predict that those limited avatars will be much more valuable when the game is out for the public.

However, you can still purchase those NFTs online since players and hustlers saw it as an opportunity. You can pick whichever you like, but be wise and think twice about it. As I’ve mentioned above, the characters are unique, and they carry different sets of equipment with them. It can be an advantage or disadvantage for you.
Final Thoughts
The hype for this game still burns bright as it approaches its estimated release date. People were excited to see the gameplay footage they’ve released. However, some speculate that it’s still too early for the game to be released and that the developers should give it more time. In the past, it has often been shown that putting a half-cooked product out into the public will kill the hype, and that would be bad news for everyone, especially the ones invested in it.
