This means you won’t have to do much work, which is perfect if you’re busy and have other things to do but still want to earn money on the side. Farmers World also offers other features, and as a player, you can cultivate your land, breed animals, and collect resources using various NFT tools. And the resources that you collect can then be sold as NFTs on the game’s secondary marketplace.

Gameplay

Mining
You can mine resources like GOLD and other NFTs within the game. You can also use the GOLD you mined and some WOOD to craft your tools and repair equipment. Other features include catching fish for FOOD to increase your farmer’s STRENGTH and more.
Breeding
The farmer raises cattle to produce food that fuels them and ensures that they have enough strength and energy when the jungle monsters try to terrorize their farm.
Building
You can expand your farm by building additional shelter and solid cages for the animals. And constructing cow sheds and chicken coops helps them grow fast and healthy, serving as shelter and protection for them from the jungle monsters.
Cultivation
Food is an absolute necessity to survive and live comfortably. So farmers plant and cultivate crops to care for their cattle, and that’ll, in turn, provide food to their table.

The danger is always imminent. And wild animals and jungle monsters are always on the move, waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike. So it’s up to the farmers and their pets to fend off these beasts and receive rewards.
How To Play Farmers World
You’ll need to log in with your crypto wallet to gain full access to the game to get started. A WAX account is also necessary to trade on the secondary NFT marketplace. But you should expect fees when minting NFTs or doing transactions within them.
Necessary Tools
As a farmer, you’ll need tools to actually start playing. Of course, tools are necessary items for you to mine and collect the three primary resources you’ll need: Food, Wood, and Gold. And to acquire tools, you’ll either have to purchase from the marketplace or craft one yourself.
But unfortunately, for free players, you’ll have to spend a bit to get the materials needed to craft one. So either way, you’ll end up spending out-of-pocket.
Here are the tools needed to collect resources:
- Food – You’ll need Fishing Rods, Fishing Net, or Fishing Boat
- Wood – You’ll need Axes, Saws, or Chainsaws
- Gold – You’ll need to use a Mining Excavator
Note that each tool has a durability limit. And when a tool’s durability hits zero, you’ll have to spend some Gold. Moreover, Tools have a cooldown of one hour after being used, and within its cooldown period, you won’t be able to use that tool.
Aside from the needed tools, you’ll need to spend some Energy to accomplish a task. And at the start, you’ll have 200 Energy that can be replenished by eating Food. Needless to say, all three necessary resources are crucial for players to function and make progress in-game.
How to Earn in Farmers World
Now you know how the game works and what tools you’ll need to operate. But how do you actually earn from it? Well, there are several ways for players to make in Farmers World. And that’s through gathering resources, cultivating crops, and raising animals.
Gather and sell resources
With the right tools, you can collect Food, Wood, or Gold. These primary resources can be sold on the marketplace. You can also use the “Exchange” in-game feature to swap whichever resource you have for something you lack (i.e., Wood for Gold, Food for Gold, Gold for Food, etc.).
Cultivating Crops
You can cultivate different crops such as corn, wheat, barley, etc. And, of course, these are all tradable in the secondary marketplace. And just like in real life, you can’t start without the essentials. So you’ll first have to get a Farm plot and some seeds that you can plant to start growing crops. And you’ll also need to water your crops regularly, which takes a toll on your limited energy.
Raising Animals
Raising and breeding animals brings you yields and other produce. And there are plenty of animals you can raise, such as cows, bulls, chickens, etc.
Like mining resources that require specific tools for the job, farming animals requires you to have a Farm plot where you can raise animals. You’ll also need shelter for your animals like Cowsheds and chicken Coops for comfort and protection from outside threats. And aside from shelter, animals have specific needs like food and milk to raise them.
Farmers World NFTs
Farmers World has a collection of NFTs that you can buy, use, and sell on the market. All the tools, farm animals, buildings, and even memberships (Bronze, Diamond, Gold) are considered NFTs. And you are free to do whatever you want with these items. These NFTs are in-game items and assets that would aid you with your daily activities on the farm and increase your productivity and yield.

Defend Your Farm
An upcoming feature for Farmers World is the ability to defend your farm. As a farm owner, you’ll need to protect your crops and farm animals from wild predators that aim to harm them. And so, players will soon be able to forge weapons and have pets to help them defend their homes.
Aside from natural wild animal predators, both the white tribes and the red tribes plan to invade farms, including your land. So prepare for this impending danger and form an alliance with other farmers to help each other fend off unwanted intruders.
New Characters
Multiple characters will be introduced to the game to help you with the work on your farm and defend it against incoming threats from wild animals and invading tribes.
Cultivate Fruits
A variety of fruits will be added to the game. This will add an extra spice to your gameplay experience and introduce other alternatives to manage your farm.
Direct P2P Trading
This one is highly speculative, but rumors have spread that players will soon exchange goods directly with other farmers.
