Animoca Brands announced on February 28, 2022, that the already ongoing Daily Star Chest event of mobile strategy game Crazy Defense Heroes would continue into March. This event will allow gamers to win rewards as the TOWER tokens, the native currency of various tower defense games of the Animoca Brands portfolio. Also, gamers can earn TOWER map NFTs in various levels such as Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary. The tokens are an initiative to add a play-to-earn element to an existing free-to-play mobile game.
Crazy Defense Heroes is a mobile game playable on iOS and Android devices. Animoca announced that it is moving from the competitive event, and now anybody who is already playing the game can benefit from earning the TOWER token. Earlier, only the best performers could earn these tokens based on their performance in the tournament. Now anybody who meets the minimum gameplay requirement gets rewarded with these tokens as per the new mechanism. On the other hand, games like Crazy Kings still hold competitive events as a deciding factor to earn TOWER tokens.

TOWER Map NFTs are ERC-1155 tokens on a polygon network. They are used to unlock different levels of Game Maps. The higher tier of Map NFTs boost your rewards. These NFTs can be traded on OpenSea.

Total 18,00,000 TOWER tokens will be at stake in the Crazy Defense Heroes play-to-earn XP gain reward pool. Players who get more XP will have better chances to gain more tokens. The reward pool for March and April is divided into three categories, as shown below:
Here the point is to be taken care of that the player has to gain a minimum of 315000 avatar XP within each month to be eligible to earn TOWER tokens (for example, if the current XP of the player is 100000, then he will need 100000+315000=415000 XP to earn from March’s Tier 1 reward pool). A player can earn TOWER tokens from XP gain and Daily Star Chest events.
Daily Star Chest Rewards
The total number of TOWER tokens and TOWER Map NFTs depends on how many days the player has completed check-ins on the website. Daily check-ins are not required, but there must be a total of 7 check-ins. A player can earn a maximum of 406 TOWER tokens and 4 TOWER Map NFTs in March 2022.
