The supply carts will contain NFT cards that represent in-game features like new buildings, equipment, astronauts, and vehicles that support your colony’s expansion. According to the developers of Colonize Mars, Martia is designed to be the Martian economy’s foundation.
Staking Martia
As the game is entering its third phase, it has big plans for 2022. The introduction of staking their currency is big. Players can earn more Martia by staking and have chances of receiving more in-game features and NFTs.
They can earn resources like water, food, oxygen, wellbeing, power, etc., in exchange for Martia when staking. Although these in-game resources have no use now, the developers have released a roadmap explaining that by mid-2022, they will be useful.
Players can stake Martia into any seven pools which they offer. Staking is expected to begin as a feature in the game in February 2022. Martia token, NFTs, and five Resources (Water, Food, Oxygen, Wellbeing, and Power). The rewards in each pool will be based on the amount the player staked.
